We work with the local fire safe councils and associations building fuel breaks on private as well as government lands. We help create fuel breaks around communities. We encourage the public to join and get involved with your local fire safe councils and fire wise communities.

There are a number of government programs that can also assist private land owners in doing thinning and forestland improvement projects. In many cases, they will assist with a portion of the clearing cost with a cost share program. Two contacts are listed here:
